* All of these guidelines are subject to operator judgement call. Violations may result in a warning kick, temporary or permanent banning from the channel. These guidelines may be revised as necessary.
* The channel will be moderated (+m) when a game is in session, and players, the DM, and the dicebot will be voiced. During sessions the topic will be changed to "<game> in progress, room is moderated. /msg <DM> for information on joining."
* No ethnic, religious, gender, or orientation slurs allowed. If you dislike something, fine, you can say so and why, but "gay" as a derogatory and "jews are all greedy bastards" and the like will not be tolerated for any reason.
* Profanity in moderation is okay, excessive profanity is not.
* Persistent personal attacks are unacceptable. Arguing is okay, tirades and flamewars are not.
* Be respectful of others' conversations. Simply not being part of a discussion does not give you the right to try to stop it and draw attention to yourself.
* If you must subject the others in the channel to bash quotes, please keep it down to one or two a day. The same goes for posting links. In addition, warn 56k users if you link to a very large file or other load-intensive page.
* During game sessions, OOC (Out Of Character, not part of the RPG itself) comments will be contained within (parentheses) or [brackets].
